The Principle of Authentic Sovereignty.

FINDING YOUR TRUE NORTH: WHY YOUR "SOUL'S CALL" NEEDS A SMART PLAN

Today, I want to talk about something very important, something many of us feel deep inside, but might not know how to name. It's about knowing what truly matters to you – your deepest passion, your real purpose, or what makes you feel truly alive. I call this feeling "soul claiming."

It's like finding your own special flavor in a world full of different tastes.

Many of us go through life doing what we have to do. We work hard, care for our families, and follow traditions. All of this is good and important! But sometimes, we might start to feel a little lost, like we've forgotten what truly makes us happy, what our unique contribution should be.

This is where "soul claiming" comes in. It's realizing that finding this deep personal meaning – your "true north" – should be your number one priority. It's about saying, "This is who I am, and this is what I need to do to feel whole."

Why It's Your First Priority

Think about a compass. If you don't know where North is, how can you plan your journey? Your "soul's call" is like that North. When you know it, all your decisions become clearer:

  • Work: Does your job truly use your unique talents?
  • Relationships: Are you spending time with people who truly understand and support your core self?
  • Hobbies: Are you doing things that truly energize you?

When your deepest self is aligned with your actions, life feels more meaningful and less like a struggle.

But... We Need a "Sober Way"

Now, here's the important second part of my thought: "but this should be in a sober ways."

What does "sober ways" mean? It means we can't just dream big and hope for the best. We need to be smart, practical, and disciplined. Especially in Asian cultures, we understand the importance of hard work, planning, and family responsibility. We can't just drop everything for a sudden "soul mission" without thinking!

"Sober ways" means:

  1. Thinking Clearly: Don't rush into big changes. Think about your situation carefully.
  2. Planning Steps: Break down your big dream into small, manageable steps. Just like preparing a complex dish in the kitchen – you don't just throw everything in! You chop, you marinate, you cook in stages.
  3. Being Responsible: Consider how your "soul claiming" will fit into your life and responsibilities. How can you pursue your passion without neglecting your family or financial duties?
  4. Being Patient: Big changes take time. Be patient with yourself and the process.
  5. Learning Continuously: Always seek to learn and improve, both about yourself and your chosen path.

Let's Imagine a Chef's Journey

Take a chef, for example. Maybe they started cooking just to make a living. But deep down, their "soul's call" is to create a unique dish that tells a story, using forgotten family recipes.

  • "Soul claiming" (first priority): They realize they must create this signature dish. This is their true culinary purpose.
  • "Sober ways": They don't quit their job instantly. Instead, they:
    • Research old recipes in their spare time.
    • Experiment with ingredients on their days off.
    • Carefully plan how to introduce it to their restaurant's menu, maybe as a special first.
    • They get feedback, refine, and improve, step by step.

This is a "sober way" of "soul claiming." It's powerful because it's both passionate and practical.

What is Your "Soul's Call"?

So, my friends, I encourage you to ask yourself:

  • What is your deepest passion?
  • What unique contribution do you feel you're meant to make?
  • What makes you feel truly alive and authentic?

And then, think about how you can pursue it in a smart, disciplined, and responsible way. Your "true north" is waiting. Find it, plan for it, and then work towards it with both your heart and your head.

I hope this helps you connect with your own journey! WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON "SOUL CLAIMING" IN A "SOBER WAY"? SHARE IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!
